Why many people consider carpet cleaning to be tedious

posted on 15 February 2011

I was raised in a home of very many children and to say the truth I am what I am today because of what I was able to learn life lessons at home. I learned on ways to live with people of different personalities without getting the urge to strangle them every single time they did something to drive me crazy also learned to be very patient. This is because you might need something from a sibling who was very hard to deal with and you had to practice patience if you are going to be able to get what you want. When it got to chores of the house, I did not like it at all. But we all had to do chores, since I was the middle child, I was lucky enough to evade chores like carpet cleaning which I dreaded. It is my older sisters and brothers who got assigned that because they had better knowledge on how to clean the carpet and what type of detergent to use in order to finish the cleaning process which was really tedious.

It's the Same Space, But Different Pace

posted on 3 January 2011

Everyday you wake up and see the same old movie. Walk into the same kitchen and make coffee in the same old mug. If only just one little thing changed on the way to the kitchen, everything would be different. You don't really need much. You don't really need to pull down any walls or spend the earth and the moon to make things work in your house. Just a few minor details could make a world of difference.First of all a spacious clutter-free room helps uplift the spirit of the room as well as the people living in it. So, a wall to wall bookcase and cabinets are a perfect choice for people living in apartments with people things around them. A place for things to return after being used is always the easiest way to keep a house clean and organised. Then, of course, a rug and maybe matching painting with colors that bring out feeling of calm and relaxation when sitting on couch. Finally, curtains and matching cushions that coordinate in color with the rest of the furniture in the room. These are basically the few things need to be done in the apartment so as to wake up and smell the coffee and smile. Finally, don't forget your garden. For this space, I like to keep it bare - if you must use garden furniture, just erect temporary things like pop-up gazebos when the sun shines.
