Being pregnant was one of the most emotional experiences of my life. From the time that I got a positive pregnancy test to the time that my beautiful daughter was born. On the night I received my positive test, my husband was gone and I was not sure how to tell him as we were not planning on having any more children and I was unsure of his reaction. This uncertainty carried through the entire pregnancy as I was unsure of every new symptom that occurred as well as everything that I read in the book that should happen and did not happen. At least my maternity clothes made me physically comfortable, even if mentally I was experiencing a certain amount of anguish. The emotional roller coaster came to an end the moment I heard my daughter cry and I held her in my arms.
